Set in nearly 100-acres of lavender fields with beautiful gardens, a visit to the world-famous Norfolk Lavender is a must for anyone enjoying a self-catering holiday in North Norfolk.
The on-site lavender distillery and guide demonstrate how the distillation process of the lavender flowers make the oil for Norfolk Lavender’s perfume and toiletry products. Guided tours, including around the lavender fields themselves, operate for most of the summer months, please call to check times and prices.
The Countryside Gift Shop stocks a full range of Norfolk Lavender’s famous products together with a wide choice of other gifts to suit all pockets. The Conservatory houses many varieties of lavender and herb plants together with unusual gifts for gardeners.
And of course, there’s the Lavender Lounge Tea Room specialising in cream teas, freshly-baked cakes and lunches.
Norfolk Lavender also hosts a wonderful Rare Breed Animal Centre with masses of rare and unusual farm animals, set in 10-acres of landscaped grounds.
